     Solar street lights should not only illuminate rural roads in mountainous areas, but also a new generation of solar street lights are entering urban traffic arteries, partially replacing city street lights. Its biggest feature is that it has achieved single-system high power. After the soft film, there appeared high-power photovoltaic street lights that integrated monocrystalline silicon and lamps, monocrystalline silicon, shingled components and lamp poles. In order to replace some qualified 12-meter-high street lights of the city power, the technical reserve has been completed.

    Compared with the mains street lamp, this 12-meter-high solar street lamp has many advantages. It can completely replace the mains street lamp in places with suitable lighting conditions. The maximum power of a single system can reach 200 to 220 watts. If a 160 to 200-lumen LED light source is used, it can be fully applied to the lighting of two-way six-lane roads such as ring roads and expressways. There is no need to apply for mains quota, lay cables, or transformers, and no earthwork or backfilling is required. If designed according to the standard, it can fully meet the energy storage needs of seven rainy, foggy and snowy days, and the life span is up to three, five, and eight years; the energy storage of solar street lamps for 3-5 years is recommended to use lithium batteries, and supercapacitors can be used for 5-8 years. The current controller technology can not only monitor and feedback whether the working status is on, but also access professional management platforms to provide big data on power generation and energy storage status for carbon emission reduction and carbon trading.

    The fact that solar street lamps can replace mains street lamps is a major new energy lighting technology advancement, which is gratifying. This is not only the need for social development, environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction, but also the rigid demand of the street lamp market, and it is also an opportunity provided by history. Not only the domestic market is facing a large number of substitutions, but the international market is even more so. In the context of global energy shortages, energy structure adjustment and carbon emission reduction, solar lighting products are more popular than ever before. At the same time, a large number of garden lights and landscape lights are also in urgent need of upgrading.
