3. Lampshade: Covering the lamp head, the lampshade protects the internal light source and electrical circuits. It is fabricated from transparent or translucent materials such as glass, plastic, or polycarbonate (PC).
4. Heat Sink: LED street lights generate continuous heat during long-hour operation. To ensure stable performance and extended service life of LEDs, heat sinks are integrated into the design to dissipate heat and maintain the fixture temperature within a safe working range.
5. Light Source: LED chips serve as the light source for LED street lights, characterized by high brightness, high energy efficiency, and long lifespan. Installed inside the lamp head, LED chips realize beam control and light focusing via reflectors or lenses.
6. Driver Power Supply: The LED driver converts alternating current (AC) from the municipal power grid into direct current (DC) suitable for LED operation. It is usually installed inside the light pole, with built-in waterproof, dustproof, and lightning protection functions.
7. Control System: For intelligent management, some LED street lights are equipped with control modules including photoswitch control, timing control, human body induction, and more. The control system is placed inside the pole or lamp head, and communicates with external control terminals through wired connections or wireless communication.
In summary, the LED street light assembly is composed of a light pole, lamp head, lampshade, heat sink, light source, driver power supply, and control system. All these components work in tandem to form a complete and functional LED street lighting system.
